I WISH! As I was browsing the blogging world I stumbled upon Just a Small Town Girl's Blog....and she had a post about all the fun you can have on Photofunia. This site is great.....look at what else I made!

Even Victoria Beckam (aka Posh Spice) got in on the fun.

I love Bakerella and cupcakes

One blog that I love is Bakerella. She has some great cute ideas for cupcakes and she makes fun cake pops.

I made these cupcakes for Easter using her ideas. They are easy to make and the kids loved them.

I also made some Easter candy bags for the kids.

Here are my two boys; My hubby and Logan ready to visit family on Easter.

Margaritas and Housewives

Two things I love are margaritas and reality tv.

Put them in a blender...mix them up good.

Add a little tequila and a little Housewives of New York and you get....Skinny Girls Margarita by Bethenny Frankel

If you prefer on the rocks....I got the following recipe from www.bethennybakes.com

The SkinnyGirl™ Margarita On the Rocks

What you'll need:

2 oz of clear Tequila (Sauza or clear premium tequila)

(count 1, 2 while you pour, no need for measuring)
A splash of fresh lime juice

A splash of Grand Marnier or BOLS Triple Sec
Combine all ingredients over a glass of ice

Garnish with a lime wedge and salt (or sugar) if you'd like.

Makes one serving

Enjoy

Mini Cheese Cake

I am a wicked HUGE fan of cheese cake....can't get enough of the stuff. I found a great recipe on Sparkpeople.com for mini lowfat cheesecakes and wanted to share it with all you fabulous ladies.

Ingredients:
  • 12 lowfat vanilla wafers
  • 16 oz of reduced fat cream cheese (2 pkgs)
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line muffin tins with 12 cupcake papers. Place a vanilla wafer in the bottom of each cupcake paper.

2. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla and mix. Add eggs and beat until smooth.

3. Pour cheesecake mixture into muffin tins. Bake for 20 minutes or until centers are almost set. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.

They are so yummy. I usually add either fresh strawberries on top or strawberry topping with no sugar added for just a few more calories. Enjoy.

How does my butt look?

(FYI: that is NOT me in the above pic)

Okay...I have always had a love-hate relationship with Express Jeans and today was no different when I went shopping for jeans. Their jeans are great...affordable and I have pairs that I have had for years. But I have one complaint....you can try on ten different size 8's and they are all different!!!!! Some are way to big and some you can't even zipper up.

I have always had this problem with their jeans....for some reason the sizes are so warped.
But when you do find the right pair....whatever size that may be....it fits great, and my butt looks awesome!

PS: I go back to work tomorrow....only part-time though...but it's still work.

Bathroom Redo

I decided to redo my bathroom this weekend...I am not the best interior decorator in the world but I was pretty happy with how it came out.

I went by the Christmas Tree Shop and bought new curtains and some seashell decorations. (I wanted to stay away from seashells because it's sooooooo New England....but they were on sale!)

I got this frame for $5....it was originally $25 at Kohls.

Loved this ceramic shell for $8....I thought it looked really nice with some rolled up towels inside.

The next thing I want to change is the mirror....my husband had it before we even knew each other and it looks really dated. That's my next splurge.

I really liked this shower curtain...I love the colors and it matches the blue floor tile pretty well.

I saw this at a hotel once and for some strange reason I love the way it looks (I know...strange). I always fold the toilet paper neatly when I have company...it just looks nice.

PS: the weather sucks today. :( This pic was taken from my kitchen window....can't wait for some sunshine!!!!! Wow....I just realized this pic looks pretty scary.)

Logan

I was trying to get a pic of Logan smiling....this was my first attempt.

....still doesn't want to smile....

....nope, ain't havin it....

....not yet...

....FINALLY!!!! He's too cute. I love love love him.

Have a great weekend!
